Community Groups (CG) and Life Groups (LG) are YNCC's small groups. We believe that it is through small groups that a big church is made smaller which allows for authentic community, deeper relationships and spiritual growth.
We believe that being a part of a small group is one of the best ways to fulfill YNCC's mission to lead people to Christ and become like Him.
What is the difference between Community Groups and Life Groups?
Community Groups are small groups that meet regularly to do life together, connect relationally and to grow spiritually, by applying the Word of God and through prayer. CGs have an open door where anyone is welcome to attend and join depending on your location and/or life stage. Each group consists of 10-15 people that meets regularly to connect and grow together in the context of community.
Life Groups are small groups that have a similar purpose as CGs but are for those who desire to go to a deeper place of spiritual and relational connection. After an initial trial period, LG members commit to the group for a period of time in order to facilitate deeper relationships and accountability. Typical commitment duration will last 12 to 18 months and will remain mostly closed during this period. After the commitment period is completed the group may choose to recommit together, as many do.
You can search for groups by area or types in the column to the right. When you find a group you're interested in, click the link to contact the leader(s). The group leader(s) will reach out to you with details for the group.
