What is it?
- Face-to-face relational learning from people of Lincoln Heights.
- Think-tank with other YNCC team members to craft the new info into a custom-built, God-honoring ministry to our neighbors.
Why are we doing this project?
- To understand and gain deeper insights of the Lincoln Heights community as we learn to know the people who live there, what they are like, and what their needs are. To understand what major issues the community is facing and build on a relational level with various people we encounter.
- To contribute what we discover to the formation of YNCC’s community outreach strategy.
Why do we need this project?
We understand that there are already enough demographic data and other organizational studies, and we are not going to re-invent the wheel. However, we still need people’s values/lifestyles which are rarely available, as well as need relational connecting points as we seek to reach out to the community.
